Monday Weekly Prayer 5.24.2021

PRAYER POINTS:

  1. The Lord cares not only our actions, He cares for what we are carrying inside our hearts too (Proverbs 4:23). Is it filled with love, joy, peace, hope, mercy and kindness? Or is it filled with bitterness, jealousy, pride and anger? Pray that He would guard our hearts and help us to honor Him in everything we do from the outside and think from the inside, for it will determine the course of your life and your service to Him.
  2. When the Lord teaches us how to pray He says “hallowed be His name (Matthew 6:9-10).” God’s name is Holy because of who He was, who He is and who He will become. But we also play a part in keeping the holiness of His name when we  give Him all the honor and glory He deserves among His people. Pray that we would honor God before the nations. Pray that we would “hallow” His name in our daily lives. Pray that we would keep His name Holy before His people so that in turn others would see the Father in us and honor Jesus as King. Pray that all tribes and nations would come before our King and honor Him as the Holy One.
  3. One of the ways to honor Our King as Holy is to trust His name, His power and His mercy and His providence. The only way to see Kingdom Movement is to believe in it! We dream too small because we are thinking and doing His work in our own strength. Joshua and Caleb were the only two spies who said “yes we can’t do it but He can, and He will!” Pray that God would give us a God-size vision in our own town, city and state. Pray that we would believe that the Kingdom can come upon our neighborhood, and it will! Ask God to help us in our unbelief because there is nothing too hard for Him (Mark 9:24). This is one of the ways to honor God as Holy before the people and the nations.
  4. Pray for a “whatever it takes” attitude in all our disciple-makers engaging in Kingdom Movement. Pray that practitioners would pursue the Kingdom, push against the darkness, share Christ whether in season or out of season, pray unceasingly, prayer walk daily, consecrate themselves and abide in Christ. Pray that all of us will pour into a few and continue to make disciples no matter the cost.
