Monday Weekly Prayer 5.31.2021

PRAYER POINTS:

  1. Beware of what you build now, because God will test our work by fire at the end of time (1 Corinthians 3:10-15). Jesus Christ is our foundation.  On top of this foundation we can choose to build our work that is temporary or long-lasting. Ask ourselves: do we want to build “success” that would receive earthly praises now, or do we want to build something of eternal value that may seem insignificant to the world today? Evaluate your work today and ask God for wisdom to do His will.
  2. Together we are the sacred temple of God (1 Corinthians 3:16-23). We are His body. All Kingdom knowledge belongs to us, and we all belong to Christ. So why are we boasting about what we know and who we learn from? Ask God to forgive our ignorance and seek unity in His body. Pray that we as the Kingdom crew will labor as one body to pursue His will and bring His Gospel to the ends of the earth.
  3. Pray that our work would begin among the Jews and Gentiles alike. Pray that God would open the door for the unreached people in our city to come to Him. Pray for the Yemeni, the Indians, the Turks, the Palestinians, the Hispanics, the Muslims, the Buddhists… or whoever you find in your city who are particularly lost and in need of the Gospel. Pray that we would connect with the last the lost and the least.
  4. Pray for us to recognize the prompting of the Holy Spirit when it comes to the right time to witness to our family and friends. Pray for boldness to share and the wisdom to respond to the questions from others.
